The Department of "Modeling of Hygienic and Medical Processes" was established in August 2023 at the Central Asian Medical University - International Medical University. Currently, this department is headed by Mukhtarov Farrukh Muhammadovich.
Currently, the department has 1 full-time professor, 1 associate professor, 5 senior lecturers and 5 assistant lecturers, as well as 1 laboratory assistant.

The main task of the department
The main task of the department is to contribute to the formation of a strong and effective medical system, which is the main goal of a democratic state, as well as to train competitive personnel with deep knowledge and skills, high moral qualities, and to provide our country with worthy, highly qualified personnel by teaching them the main pre-clinical and clinical modules to become masters of their specialties. If we pay attention to the field of medical education in developed countries, we can see the integration of education with the medical system.
That is, education, practice, high-quality medical technology. On this basis, CAMU Medical University has signed cooperation agreements with Belarus, Russia, Germany, Turkey, Korea, Kyrgyzstan. It has been fulfilling its tasks of systematically improving the professional qualifications and skills of teaching staff based on the "Roadmap" drawn up in accordance with the agreements, organizing internships for teaching and research staff in foreign countries, strengthening the scientific potential of the department, further developing scientific research, contributing to its integration with academic science, increasing the effectiveness of the scientific activities of the teaching staff, and attracting talented students and young people to engage in scientific activities.

Scientific work and directions initiated by the department
The department conducts scientific research in the fields of medical specialties; biophysics, traumatology, orthopedics, cardiac surgery, and biotechnology.
Currently, laboratory classes have been established in all modules and are equipped with equipment and facilities that meet the requirements of the new era.
Since this year, the department has achieved the following results:
• According to international indicators, the number of citations of the department`s teachers to publications is 78;
• Articles published in international scientific journals (journals included in the Web of Science, Scopus and OAK databases) is 45, and abstracts at international scientific conferences are 71;
• Articles published in republican scientific journals (OAK) are 43, and articles at republican international conferences and meetings are 65;
• The department is implementing a scientific project on the topic "Study of mechanical properties and biological compatibility of CoCr-based medical materials after thermal and electrochemical processing" in collaboration with the BNTU of the Republic of Belarus, the innovative unitary enterprise "Polytechnic" scientific and technological park. To date, 2 articles have been published in Scopus databases and 4 in international scientific journals and conferences.
