Finance Department

A planning and finance department was established at the Central Asian Medical University to increase the effectiveness of the reforms being implemented, ensure the financial stability of the university, address issues related to strengthening its material and technical base, expand opportunities for attracting funds for research activities, and develop a competitive environment among higher education institutions.

The main goal of the Finance Department is to ensure financial stability by planning the economic and educational activities of the university.

The main tasks of the department are:

  • determining the cost of paid-contract education, taking into account the demand in the educational services market
  • determining and extending the terms of payment of contractual funds by students
  • attracting domestic and foreign professors and specialists who can use modern pedagogical technologies and conduct scientific research to the educational process on a contractual basis; taking into account market conditions, making decisions on determining the amount of remuneration for the labor of foreign highly qualified specialists participating in educational and scientific processes
  • developing criteria for the introduction of professorial staff units
  • allocating scholarships and grants for students from their own funds
  • determining the procedure for providing paid services in vacant buildings and structures
  • cdeveloping a long-term and medium-term strategic development program of a higher educational institution
  • developing a medium-term business plan of a higher educational institution and estimates of income and expenses of the university for the financial year
  • To implement financial control measures objectively and independently
  • To submit a report on the use of funds to the rector of the university and the founding council in accordance with the established procedure on a quarterly basis
