The Department of "Medical Chemistry and Biological Sciences" was established on October 3, 2022 at the Central Asian Medical University (CAMU) - International Medical University. The activities of the department are aimed at in-depth and thorough training of future doctors in the basics of medical sciences.

• Teaching medical biology, medical chemistry, biochemistry, and microbiology based on modern pedagogical technologies;

International cooperation
Within the framework of CAMU, the department cooperates with the following foreign universities:
• Republic of Korea — Chonnam National University;
• Republic of Belarus — BNTU;
• Kyrgyzstan — Kyrgyz Medical Institute.
Based on the "Roadmap" developed within the framework of cooperation, advanced training of professors and teachers, foreign internships, scientific research and academic exchanges are being carried out.

Ganiyev Komolidin Khalilovich began his career in 1997 as a student researcher at the Department of Zoology of Fergana State University, and from 1998 to 1999 he worked as a senior laboratory assistant at the Department of Zoology of Fergana State University. From 1999 to 2001, he studied at the postgraduate course of Fergana State University. Ganiyev Komolidin Khalilovich has more than 20 years of experience in teaching biology and chemistry. He has published more than 70 scientific articles and theses in international and republican scientific journals. He is currently conducting scientific research on his doctoral dissertation (DSc) on the topic “Aphids of Northeastern Uzbekistan (Homoptera, Aphidinea): fauna, genesis and ecology”.
