Obstetrics and Gynecology

The Residency Program in Obstetrics and Gynecology is designed to train highly qualified specialists in women’s reproductive health, pregnancy management, childbirth care, and the diagnosis and treatment of gynecological diseases using modern medical technologies. This specialty plays a vital role in healthcare by ensuring the well-being of both mother and child. During the program, residents acquire competencies in managing normal and high-risk pregnancies, perinatal medicine, advanced diagnostic techniques, reproductive technologies, minimally invasive surgical procedures, gynecological endocrinology, and emergency obstetric care. Clinical training is conducted at well-equipped medical institutions under the supervision of experienced faculty members and practicing clinicians. The curriculum integrates theoretical knowledge with hands-on practice, emphasizing clinical decision-making, patient-centered care, and participation in research activities. Graduates are prepared to work in maternity hospitals, perinatal centers, multidisciplinary clinics, private healthcare institutions, and research organizations as professional obstetrician-gynecologists.
