Therapeutic Dentistry

The Residency Program in Therapeutic Dentistry is designed to train highly qualified specialists in the conservative diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of dental and oral diseases. This specialty focuses on preserving the functional and aesthetic condition of teeth and improving patients’ overall oral health and quality of life. During the program, residents study dental caries, pulpitis, periodontitis, non-carious lesions, oral mucosal diseases, periodontal conditions, and preventive dentistry. Training includes the use of modern restorative materials, endodontic treatment techniques, dental radiology, and pain management methods. Clinical training is conducted in modern dental clinics, where residents gain practical experience in advanced diagnostic procedures, minimally invasive treatment technologies, and individualized treatment planning. The curriculum integrates theoretical knowledge with hands-on clinical practice. Graduates are prepared to work in dental outpatient clinics, multidisciplinary medical centers, private dental practices, and research institutions as professional therapeutic dentists.
