Therapy

The Residency Program in Internal Medicine (Therapy) is designed to train highly qualified physicians in the prevention, diagnosis, conservative treatment, and rehabilitation of internal diseases. Internal medicine serves as a fundamental discipline in clinical practice, providing a comprehensive approach to managing patients with a wide range of medical conditions. During the program, residents study diseases of the cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive, renal, and endocrine systems, as well as metabolic disorders and other internal conditions. Training emphasizes modern laboratory and instrumental diagnostics, evidence-based clinical guidelines, preventive care, and long-term patient management. Clinical practice is conducted in multidisciplinary hospitals and clinical settings, where residents develop skills in comprehensive patient evaluation, individualized treatment planning, and the application of evidence-based medicine principles. Graduates are prepared to work in outpatient clinics, hospitals, diagnostic centers, rehabilitation facilities, and research institutions as internal medicine physicians.
