The Residency Program in Allergology and Immunology is designed to train highly qualified specialists in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of allergic diseases and immune system disorders. This field has become increasingly important in modern healthcare due to the growing prevalence of allergic and immunological conditions. During the program, residents study bronchial asthma, allergic rhinitis, atopic dermatitis, food allergies, drug hypersensitivity, autoimmune diseases, immunodeficiency syndromes, and other immune-related disorders. Training includes performing allergy testing, immunological laboratory diagnostics, serological and molecular investigations, and applying modern immunotherapy approaches. Clinical training is conducted in specialized allergy and immunology centers and clinical laboratories, where residents gain experience in allergen-specific immunotherapy (ASIT), individualized treatment planning, and preventive care strategies. The curriculum integrates theoretical knowledge with practical clinical experience. Graduates are prepared to work in specialized clinics, multidisciplinary hospitals, diagnostic laboratories, research institutions, and private healthcare facilities as allergists and immunologists.
