CAMU
Mamasaidov Jamolidin Turginbayevich was born on January 7, 1961, in Yozyovon district of Fergana region. From 1978 to 1984, he studied at the Central Asian Medical Pediatric Institute, majoring in Pediatrics. In 1984–1985, he completed his internship in Pediatric Surgery at the Fergana City United Children’s Hospital under Andijan Medical Institute.
From 1985 to 1988, he worked as a surgeon at Yozyovon Central District Hospital. Between 1988 and 1990, he completed his clinical residency in Pediatric Surgery at the Tashkent Medical Pediatric Institute. From 1990 to 1994, he served as an assistant at the Department of Pediatric Surgery of the same institute. In 1992, he defended his PhD (Candidate of Medical Sciences) dissertation entitled:
“Experimental and Clinical Justification of Spleen-Preserving Surgical Interventions in Children with Portal Hypertension.”
From 1994 to 1997, he worked as a lecturer in Surgery and Pharmacology at Boz Medical College in Andijan region. From 1997 to 2000, he worked as a Pediatric Thoracic Surgeon at the Republican Scientific Center of Emergency Medical Care in Tashkent. In 2000–2001, he worked as a medical officer at Fergana Tax College.
From 2001 to 2008, he served as Senior Lecturer at the Department of Clinical Sciences, Fergana Branch of Tashkent State Medical Institute. From 2008 to 2013, he was the head of a private medical firm in Yozyovon district. From 2013 to 2015, he worked as a Pediatric Orthopedist at Preschool Specialized Educational Institution No. 4. Between 2015 and 2018, he was a lecturer in Sports Medicine at the Faculty of Physical Culture, Fergana State University.
From 2018 to 2025, he served as Head of the Department of General Surgery at the Fergana Branch of Tashkent Medical Academy. From 2020 to 2021, he worked as Vice-Rector for Clinical Affairs. From 2021 to 2025, he headed the Department of Traditional Medicine and Pharmacology.
In December 2021, he defended his Doctor of Medical Sciences (DSc) dissertation entitled:
“Comprehensive Assessment of the Mechanisms of Pesticides’ Impact on the Morphofunctional State of the Liver and Development of Preventive Measures.”
In 2020, he was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor in Pediatric Surgery (by the Higher Attestation Commission).
In October–November 2023, he completed a one-month advanced training program in Chinese Traditional Medicine at a medical college in Wenzhou, People’s Republic of China, and received a certificate.
He is the author of 4 textbooks, 6 monographs, 6 patents (DGU), 6 rationalization proposals, and 4 teaching-methodological manuals. He has published 68 scientific articles. Two of his students have successfully defended their PhD dissertations.
Since September 2025, he has been working as Professor and Head of the Department of “Pediatric Surgery and Propaedeutics of Internal Diseases” at CAMU International Medical University. Currently, 18 of his students are preparing for their PhD defenses.
