Murodjon Botirov

Botirov Murodjon was born in 1976 in the city of Kuvasay, Fergana region. In 1993, he enrolled in the Medical Center of Fergana State University, majoring in Medical Engineering, and graduated in 1998.
From 1998 to 2022, he worked at the Fergana Institute of Public Health (1998–2005 — Fergana branch of the Tashkent State Second Medical Institute; 2005–2020 — Fergana branch of the Tashkent Medical Academy), holding positions of laboratory assistant, senior laboratory assistant, assistant lecturer, senior lecturer, deputy dean, faculty dean, deputy director for academic and research affairs, branch director, deputy director for academic and educational affairs, and Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs.
Since September 2022, he has been working at the Central Asian Medical University, established in Fergana city, as Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and International Cooperation. In 2018, he defended his PhD dissertation entitled “Structural Self-Organization during the Crystallization of Biological Fluids and Their Diagnostic Significance in Human Diseases” in the specialty 03.00.02 — Biophysics and Radiobiology, and was awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Medical Sciences.
In 2022, the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Uzbekistan conferred upon him the academic title of Associate Professor in Biophysics and Radiobiology. M. Botirov is the author of more than 100 scientific publications, including 25 papers published in international peer-reviewed journals, 8 of which are indexed in the Scopus database. He is also the author of 3 textbooks, 3 teaching manuals, and 2 monographs.
From July 19 to August 22, 2019, he completed a 120-hour internship at the Belarusian Medical Academy, and from February 1 to February 26, 2021, a 144-hour advanced training course at Kursk State Medical University on “Public Health and Healthcare Management”.
Botirov M. actively participates in the organization and implementation of scientific research projects. He served as a senior researcher in the applied project A10-010 (2012–2014) “Development of New Diagnostic Methods for Human Diseases Based on Morphotextural Analysis of Biological Fluid Crystals”, and in the applied project A-1-100 (2015–2017) “Development and Enhancement of a Continuous Professional Development System for Medical Personnel in Foreign Languages, Information and Communication, and Educational Technologies”.
Currently, he is the principal investigator of the Uzbekistan–Belarus joint scientific project entitled “Study of Mechanical Properties and Biocompatibility of CoCr-Based Medical Materials after Thermal and Electrochemical Treatment”.
Botirov Murodjon is a demanding and dedicated scientific leader and educator, continuously engaged in professional development and highly respected by colleagues, students, and staff.
For his many years of honest and effective service and dedication to professional duties, he was awarded the Honorary Certificate of the Central Council of the Healthcare Workers’ Trade Union of the Republic of Uzbekistan (2014), the commemorative badge “25th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan” (2016), and the badge “Excellent Healthcare Worker of the Republic of Uzbekistan” (2018).
