Burkhonova Goyokhon Gulomovna was born on February 15, 1960 in the village of Oktom, Fergana district, Fergana region. In 1981, she graduated from the Faculty of Foreign Languages ​​of the Fergana State Pedagogical Institute.
Since September 2010, G. Burkhonova has been working as a senior lecturer at the Department of “Teaching Languages” of the Fergana Polytechnic Institute, from 2018 to 2021 she was the head of the department, and since 2022 she has been working as a senior lecturer in Latin and medical terminology at the Department of “Languages” of SAMU.
G. Burkhonova is engaged in scientific activities and has published more than 50 scientific articles and teaching aids in internationally recognized journals, scientific conferences of the Republic, newsletters and mass media. In 2023, she published a textbook and textbooks for the subject "Latin and Medical Terminology". She actively participates in the spiritual and educational life of the university, serving as the chairwoman of the women's council. G. Burkhonova is the owner of the "Excellent Public Education" badge.
