The Master’s program Surgery (by Specializations) is designed to train highly qualified specialists with advanced knowledge and practical skills in modern surgical disciplines. The program provides comprehensive training in the diagnosis of surgical diseases, selection of appropriate operative techniques, and effective management of patients in preoperative and postoperative periods. The educational process follows international standards and is closely integrated with clinical practice and research activities.
During the program, students study general surgery, abdominal surgery, specialized surgical fields, minimally invasive and endoscopic techniques, elements of traumatology, surgical infections, and the fundamentals of resuscitation and intensive care. Practical training is conducted at leading clinical bases, operating units, and simulation centers, enabling students to develop independent clinical reasoning and operative decision-making skills.
Special emphasis is placed on mastering modern diagnostic methods, surgical technologies, laparoscopic procedures, principles of asepsis and antisepsis, patient safety, and treatment planning according to clinical protocols.
