Pediatrics

The Pediatrics bachelor’s program is a specialized educational program aimed at training highly qualified pediatricians in accordance with modern healthcare standards. This program provides students with in-depth knowledge of children’s diseases, their diagnosis, treatment, and prevention, as well as modern medical technologies and approaches in pediatrics.

The first year establishes the foundation for the study of nursing with an introduction to concepts and theories related to understanding nursing practice. Clinical study is introduced in the second year with the focus on health promotion and identification of risk factors. Clinical nursing skills are practiced first in the School's Skills Laboratory.

Students acquire skills in using modern diagnostic equipment, laboratory technologies, and medical information systems. They develop competencies in patient communication, medical documentation, oral hygiene promotion, and disease prevention. Additionally, participation in scientific conferences, publication of articles, and involvement in innovative projects enhance their scientific potential.

Graduates of this pediatrics program can work as pediatricians in state and private pediatric clinics, hospitals, diagnostic centers, and other healthcare organizations. They also have the opportunity to pursue master’s and clinical residency programs to obtain specialized qualifications and further develop their professional careers.
