Scientific Department

The Scientific Department is a core structural unit of the University responsible for the development of research, innovation, and academic excellence. Its mission is to create a sustainable research environment, integrate science with education, and enhance the University’s scientific capacity.

The department coordinates the activities of faculty members, doctoral students, young scientists, and researchers, promotes the practical implementation of research outcomes, and expands international scientific cooperation.

Scientific Council

The Scientific Council is the highest collegial scientific governing body of the University. It defines strategic priorities for research and oversees the quality and effectiveness of scientific activities.

Key responsibilities of the Scientific Council include:

  • defining priority research areas
  • reviewing and approving scientific projects and grants
  • evaluating research outcomes and development prospects
  • addressing issues related to academic degrees and titles
  • supporting scientific journals, conferences, and publishing activities
  • encouraging young researchers and doctoral students
  • The Council’s decisions play a crucial role in shaping the University’s research policy.

    Scientific Areas

    The University conducts both fundamental and applied research aimed at addressing current challenges in medicine and healthcare. Scientific areas are developed in accordance with national and international research priorities.

    Key research areas include:

  • biotechnology and biomedical engineering
  • medical education and pedagogical technologies
  • digital medicine and artificial intelligence
  • innovative and information technologies in healthcare

    ActaCAMU Scientific Journal

    ActaCAMU Scientific Journal is the official academic journal of the University, providing a platform for publishing high-quality research results. The journal welcomes contributions from faculty members, researchers, and doctoral students.

    The scientific journal was founded in November 2022. The editorial board of the journal includes doctors of sciences and candidates of sciences from republican and foreign medical institutions. To date, 6 issues of the journal have been published. The main scientific direction of the journal is medicine. The university journal was included in the list of national scientific publications recommended for publishing the main scientific results of dissertations in medical specialties by the resolution of the Higher Attestation Commission No. 361/6 of 2024.


    The journal is based on the following principles:

  • promotion of innovative scientific research
  • The journal contributes to strengthening the University’s scientific visibility at both national and international levels.

    Scientific Conferences

    The University regularly organizes national and international scientific and practical conferences, symposia, seminars, and forums. These events facilitate knowledge exchange and discussion of current scientific issues.

  • Conference proceedings are published in scientific collections and journals.

    Scientific Projects

    The Scientific Department supports the development, implementation, and management of scientific, innovative, and applied research projects. Projects are carried out within the framework of national grants, international programs, and contractual research.

    The main objectives of scientific projects are:

  • modernization of healthcare systems
  • introduction of innovative medical technologies
  • practical application of research results
  • improvement of educational quality and professional training
  • Scientific projects play a significant role in the University’s sustainable scientific development.
